“An orgasm a day keeps the doctor away!”- Mae West

October  celebrates National Orgasm Month. Orgasms are exhilarating, euphoric and unlike anything else on earth. The actual experience can vary from person to person. With patience, a little practice and an open mind, nearly everyone is capable of achieving orgasm. An orgasm is “the build up and release of sexual pressure giving you intense, full -body waves of pleasure and relaxation.”

Below are a few tips to help you along your journey to achieving more ORGASMS ! Good luck!

  • Practice breathing techniques. Train yourself to breath properly. Consistent breathing can improve oxygen in the blood stream and encourage stronger, more frequent orgasms.
  • Follow a Mediterranean-style diet. Studies show that a diet high in fruits, veggies, whole grains and fish and low in red meat, can have a positive effect on your sex life.
  • Explore your body. Learn how to please yourself. Get acquainted with your own anatomy. Try stimulating various areas around the genitals, including the clitoris, G-spot and vulva. Get more tips from Tickle Your Fancy.
  • Maintain a clear mindset, you might be physically in the room, but if you’re not mentally there, it’ll be extremely hard to reach orgasm. Leave your to-do list, worries, and any other unrelated matters outside the bedroom door. Be present in the moment. Perhaps, yoga, mediation or a long walk is in order.
  • Communicate, Let your love know what feels good. When they do something that you enjoy, encourage them to continue.
  • Fantasize, when it comes to achieving orgasm, imagination can be a powerful tool. Try slipping into a fantasy during lovemaking. The moment you find your close to climax, try tightening and relaxing your PC muscles to spark an orgasm.

Orgasms have been shown to curb appetite; improve brain function, immune and cardiovascular systems and promote healthy skin.

  • The average female orgasm can last from six to ten seconds. Some women even experience a 20-second orgasm.
  • The average woman needs about 20 minutes of arousal time before her clitoris is sensitive enough to respond to stimulation and begin building toward climax. (Apply a dab of Pure Satisfaction® Enhancement Gel to enhance sensitivity).
  • The most likely time for a woman to experience sexual pleasure is during her menstrual period. This is due to the increase in blood circulation around the groin area.
  • 1 in 3 women have difficulty achieving orgasm.

“How can I describe to you, a man, what it feels like to a woman? Think of a light switch with a rheostat control. As you begin to turn it on, the bulb begins to get bright, then brighter, and brighter and finally in a blinding flash is fully lit. It is so good.” – Marilyn Monroe

  • Orgasms can be felt in the labia, heart, skin, spine, or even as a rush through the entire body
  • Stress relief, calorie burning, improved sleep, and anti-aging are a few of the many benefits of orgasm
  • A pig’s orgasm last for about 30 minutes!
